Get users to speak

I dont know if this is the right place, but i try anyway.

Anyone got some tips, how to get my users to actually post somthing? I always got loads of users logging in, browsing the forum.. But doesnt post at all.

Suggestions?

    Somewhat related, I was looking for something to have more comments on the posts my member submit on my adsense revenue sharing, finally I've settled on this sentence:

    "YOU ARE IMPORTANT! Please take a moment to speak your mind by leaving a comment... We value your opinion very much."
