AdSense tests Mouseover Effekt for text ads

Hello

I just noticed on one of my forums that AdSense uses a mouseover effect in AdSense text ads when viewed with IE 9. I never saw this with Firefox so I can’t really tell if this behavior is a small test or a large scale behavior change.

I find it interesting though.

Here is a screenshot with the mouseover effect

Have you seen this behavior in FireFox as well?

What do you think about this? Good or bad?

Firefox 4 is out and faster then ever

Hello

since today (actually yesterday on mozilla FTPs) the new Firefox 4 is officially available with improved security and faster then ever.

Unfortunately as of now most add-ons are not yet compatible with the new version but that should change quickly.

I personally use Firefox because of some add-ons that are essential to me like Firebug, colorpicker, measureit and a few others.

Which browser are you using and why?

Tools I would not want to miss for developing my websites

Hi

There are some tools that I really would not want to miss when I
work on a new website or my current projects.

My most favorite tools are:

  • Mozilla Firefox Browser – for me personally the best browser there is
  • Firebug – the single most important tool for working with HTML and CSS
  • ColorZilla – A very neat color picker
  • MeasureIt – Lets you measure things on a website
  • YSlow – Tips to improving the performance of your websites after analysis
  • PageSpeed – Tips to improving the performance of your websites (requires Firebug)
  • W3C Validator – only valid HTML is good HTML
  • UltraEdit – my personal favorite text editor for programming

What are the tools you would not want to miss for developing your web projects?
