Pathetic Earnings
(written by BattleStrats)
I have been so depressed about the amount of revenue being generated with my Adsense.
I really have no idea what to do to improve it.
This is 1 Day – but its an average day

The Content which make under a buck 50 is from 3 websites I have. – Just about all of the clicks are happening on the older website I have – (Resource no longer exists)
Its a year old site – lots of content. Several of our guides are ranked #1 in google…
The Content Host is YouTube which is the same category as my websites – gaming. I know gaming pays poorly and is hard to break into but I just can’t understand why its THIS LOW.
The YouTube doesn’t always do as well as it did yesterday and I have no control over it. So I just need to figure out how to get the websites up there.
Question about Ad limits
(written by 2fast4ya)
I know google says that you can have only 3 adsense for content ads on any given page of your site. So how is it that I’ve seen some established websites with much more?

Tools I would not want to miss for developing my websites
Hi
There are some tools that I really would not want to miss when I
work on a new website or my current projects.
My most favorite tools are:
- Mozilla Firefox Browser – for me personally the best browser there is
- Firebug – the single most important tool for working with HTML and CSS
- ColorZilla – A very neat color picker
- MeasureIt – Lets you measure things on a website
- YSlow – Tips to improving the performance of your websites after analysis
- PageSpeed – Tips to improving the performance of your websites (requires Firebug)
- W3C Validator – only valid HTML is good HTML
- UltraEdit – my personal favorite text editor for programming
What are the tools you would not want to miss for developing your web projects?

Which websites do you frequent to educate yourself about AdSense?
Hello
I have a few websites that I am visiting regularly to educate myself about AdSense and keep up with the latest development.
I want to share these sites with you and would like to know which sites you visit for education about advertising and AdSense.
Maybe this way we can compile a comprehensive list of quality sites.
Will removing low performing websites increase revenue?
Hello
I often hear that due to smart pricing applied a low performing websites with AdSense can have a negative effect on your overall earnings.
I personally think that Google AdSense can grain down their smart pricing to the Ad Unit level and for sure to the website level. However knowing is better than guessing so that is why I start this experiment.
I currently run 5 Forum which are responsible for the following percentages of my income:
- Forum 1 (patient forum): 93,52%
- Forum 2 (parents forum): 5,82%
- Forum 3 (diet forum): 0,41%
- Forum 4 (diabetes forum): 0,08%
- Forum 5 (asthma blog + forum): 0,12%
- Forum 6 (AdSenseExperts) is not monetized via AdSense
All of the forums have roughly the same CTR. The difference in Income is nearly all based on traffic differences. I will remove all Ads on Forum 2-5 and see if I only run AdSense on Forum 1 if this will have an impact on my earnings. I will do that for at least 7 days starting now.
I will let you know how it turns out but before that I would like your opinion on this topic.
Do you think that low performing websites have a smart pricing impact on your high performing sites?
What is your experience?
