   Old post but to answer the question, this can easily be done with a plug in. There are a few that will place the adsense right into the post.

   yeah, That looks basically like the default ad blocks.
   
   I ended up just placing the adsense directly in the post bit template under the message area and I floated it to the left. I am using a link block and this goes well when having similar threads also displayed directly in the post.
   
   As for guest viewing I have it open for everyone now but on ads I only want displayed by guests I just use a conditional..
