Hi, you know I’ve been thinking how to get this forum off the ground without getting too many newbies in adsense as we don’t want that (at least I don’t)
There is something which can be useful sometimes it’s adsense backgrounds.
At some point in time, like 2-3 years ago, one guy started to offer some background images along with the css code and html exemple, for free. Well now that he got a lot of backlinks he changed his mind and made it a paid download.

So it could be an idea to offer some background images for adsense, for a few sizes, and perhaps give some to everybody and some other which require joining the forum (or not I’m not sure if we want people to join only to download and never participate in the forum, maybe yes because then you can mail all members once in a while and perhaps have some participate as a result)
OK I reckon it is more work for you, but I am simply giving an idea to propagate the forum and give people a reason to link to it now. But I didn’t say my idea was work-free 🙂
All AdSense Placements I publish here can only be seen by registered users.
Not the whole thread only the code part required to use the placement is hidden for guests.
Also from now on I will release my vBulletin Mods exclusively on AdsenseExperts and not on vB.org anymore.
Unfortunately I am not good with Photoshop so creating background images for AdSense is not what I can do. However if you or anyone here wants to do this you are very welcome.

But I'm lazy and when I don't feel lazy I do other things which are more important in the short term, like the things I have to do, validate new applications on my multiuser sites, moderate content, etc.
So there is no chance I can be the one getting busy to create those adsense background for your forum. But the idea is still available and if you can find someone willing to do it for you, then it can be a good way to let adsense publishers know about your forum. :-)
