Hi, an AdSense Experts forum is what I really need!

(written by WalterPoon)

Hi everyone, am I glad to have found this forum!!! I was having a hard time registering because I read somewhere that if your CTR reaches between 7-10%, you are in danger of getting your Adsense account banned! I tried the question 3 times before I succeeded. Never thought that CTR is not a criteria!!!

(written by helpmeplease)

Hello, I have a site that gives minecraft video tips to minecraft lovers. The site got over 40k adsense pageviews last month but I only got 83 clicks. Can someone please help me optimize my adsense? I’m willing to pay if you really really know what you’re doing. Thanks.

Less ads more revenue? Tale or truth?

Hi

After reading so many threads about better revenue by showing less ads I wounder if that is true.

The fact is:

  • The best paying ads are the first ads that are displayed on your website.
  • The more ads you display the less value the last ads on your site have
(comparing to the first ad and depending on your keywords and keyword competition)

But if you only show lets say one Leaderboard to increase eCPM will this really increase your revenue?

Low traffic site on your AdSense account

(written by Toon)

I’ve heard somewhere that showing ads on a low performing account can affect the performance of your more high powered sites within the same adsense account.

How much truth is there on this? I can understand how a low paying ad slot on one site could affect a high paying ad slot on the same site, but an effect accross another site?

I’d love to hear some feedback on this.
