Google AdSense Ads open in a new window
Hi.
I just noticed that since yesterday Google opens AdSense Ads on my Projects in a new window.
I know that for some countries Google enabled this option (like for Asia) with the reasoning that this is the expected behavior from the user clicking on the Ads.
I don’t know if it is just a test balloon for Germany, for selected publishers or if AdSense changed the behavior of their Ads for all.
I was waiting for this a long time. If Ads open in a new window you don’t lose the User that is clicking the Ad. This means a few thousand users a day that stay on your site and not leave it by an Ad click. 😎

Seems like a dream come true — you have a tutorial on how to A/B test ad placements using DfP!
Once I get that working, I look forward to doing some optimization on other elements, probably using Google Website Optimizer. Anyone tried it yet?
I saw blog post about it, which is what lead me to DfP, and then ultimately here.

Hello just doing a simple INTRO

We run several sites, one of the larger ones is about 120-140 million impressions per month and around 20-40 mil visits to the site per month with about 9-11 mil being unique.
We have been with adsense for a while and have still not been offered premium. Hope to be able to share what works, and hopefully also learn some things.
Would really like to know if people are seeing big pay difference with DFP or no DFP, to serve the ad’s.
We have seen some interesting results site to site.:cool:
