Adsense terms question

(written by kalu)

Hi, what is your opinion regarding the size of the content and the amount of ads.

For example how Google sees websites with 100-150 words and 3 ad-units and 2 link units and a search unit.

In this example are more ads then text.

Adsense via Adserver – what is allowed?

Hi

I never spend a thought about Adsense being delivered via an Adserver until 6 month ago where my direct advertising marketer approached me with this question.

In which cases could the delivery of Adsense Ads via an Adserver be not compliant with Google Adsense TOS?

    • I used OpenX as adserver which simply passed the adsense code into the html source during deliveryI think that is OK
    • Enabling the option “Alter HTML to enable click tracking for: Google Adsense” with OpenXNot so sure
    • Delivering Adsense via Javascript Ad Tag (doubleclick Adserver) that does not pass the adsense code into the HTML source. Not so sure

So I made an inquiry to Adsense and here is the response:

Adsense: Block advertisers from low-per-click paying campaigns?

(written by unicorn)

There are some ads that appear everywhere: amazon.com, pricewatching pages etc. I usually block them to not have my visitors leaving my page for a 0.03 cent click.

What do you think about that?

Any Google Slaps for Adsense Publishers?

(written by unclebobim)

Hi Guys

I guess Im not the only one to be hit (SERPS) by the triple whammy Google algo changes in the month of April alone. Some big players especially Spencer Haws have had their Adsense accounts shut.

Google Algorithm Change History | SEOmoz

Theres been a lot of talk about too many ads above the fold and sites with poor user engagement. Have many of you been slapped or suffered loss in SERPS? How many Adsense sites are you juggling in one account?

What changes have you implemented to avoid this big G penalty?

Ive noticed Ive slipped down in most of my main keyword search terms but not had my account closed. Im currently using an aggressive layout with two top rectangles above the fold.

Love to know your thoughts on this

Anyone here own an image hosting site with Adsense?

(written by I_Am_Legend)

I am looking at purchasing an image hosting site with adsense on it. The site does well, but I have some reservations about the future of it. The images open on a blank page, with just an ad below it.. and if one image is deemed ‘unsuitable’ the google gods go *boom* and its all over.

I’m curious if anyone here has experience with an image hosting site, and how adsense has been for you? Any warnings from google? Any second chances?

Cheers
